Guidelines

Guidelines for Abstract Submission

  1. The Conference Organising Committee accepts abstract or paper fit with the conference theme.
  2. One author is only allowed to send two different abstracts or papers for the Conference
  3. Extended abstract up to maximum 1000 words is preferable. Please include 3 or 4 important references that will be used in the paper.
  4. Abstracts can be edited by the author until the last date for abstract submission
  5. Decision regarding the acceptance or the rejection of the abstract or paper, is made by the Board of Committee after receiving suggestion from  Track Coordinators.
  6. As the papers will be published, the paper should be original and has never been published in any publication. Paper should be written exclusively for the Conference and should not be an article that has been or will be presented or discussed in other forum such as seminar, scientific meeting, lecture.
  7. The copyright of the submitted paper is automatically transferred to the Conference Committee once the paper is presented in the Conference.
  8. Paper should be written in English.

 

Full Paper Writing Techniques

  1. Paper should be written in the following sequence: Abstract – Introduction – Description that can be presented with illustration, chart, map or picture, conclusion, and bibliography.
  2. Each paragraph starts on the left side of the line. New paragraph is written with a margin of one line.
  3. The title of a table is written above the table and the title of a picture is written below the picture. Each picture and table is numbered consecutively from one.
  4. Paper should not exceed 10,000 words including references, paper should be submitted electronically. Under the author(s) name please write the full address of affilitation including e-mail address.
  5. Font used is Times New Roman, with the size for title 12 bold all caps; author’s name size 10 bold; the word ‘abstract’ size 11 bold; the content of abstract size 10 italic; and the content of the paper size 11.
  6. Citation or references should be written by mentioning the author and the year in parentheses. For example: (Higgins, 1959).
  7. The title of the paper, author’s name, and the word ‘abstract’ are placed in the center.
  8. References are written with the size 10 and in accordance with the customary standard of references writing and written alphabetically based on author’s name. For example:
    a. Douglass, M. 1992. The Political Economy of Urban Poverty   and Environmental Management in Asia: Access, Empowerement, and Community Based Alternative. Environment and Urbanization Vol.4, No.2, December.
    b. Higgins, Benjamin. 1959. Economics Development, Principles, Problems and Policies. New York: W. W. Norton & Co.
